ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 18 is a medium weight fiberglass fabric treated with a proprietary refractory mineral coating that considerably improves the resistance to burn-through, flame impingement, abrasion, sparks and molten splash and corrosion.

It also greatly improves the thermal properties of the fabric. ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 18 is developed for use in welding protection and drop cloths, removable thermal insulation jackets, stress relieving blankets and thermal barriers.

The average physical properties of Armatex Firestar 18 are shown in Table 1.

ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 24 is a medium weight fiberglass fabric treated with a proprietary refractory mineral coating that considerably improves the resistance to abrasion, flame impingement, burn-through and molten splash and corrosion.

The thermal properties of the fabric are also considerably impoved. ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 24 is designed to be used in drop cloths and for welding protection,

removable thermal insulation jackets, stress relieving blankets and thermal barriers.

ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 30 is a medium weight fiberglass fabric treated with a proprietary refractory mineral coating that considerably improves the resistance to burn-through, flame impingement, abrasion, sparks and molten splash and corrosion.

It also greatly improves the thermal properties of the fabric. ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 30 is designed for use in welding protection and drop cloths, removable thermal insulation jackets, stress relieving blankets and thermal barriers.

ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 35 is a medium weight fiberglass fabric, which is treated with a proprietary refractory mineral coating that greatly enhances the resistance to burn-through, flame impingement, abrasion, sparks and molten splash and corrosion.

It also greatly improves the thermal properties of the fabric. ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 35 is designed for use in welding protection and drop cloths, removable thermal insulation jackets, stress relieving blankets and thermal barriers.

ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 40 is a heavyweight fiberglass fabric treated with a proprietary refractory mineral coating that considerably improves the resistance to flame impingement, sparks, abrasion and corrosion and molten splash.

It also enhances considerably the fabric’s thermal properties. ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 40 is designed for use in welding protection and drop cloths, removable thermal insulation jackets, stress relieving blankets and thermal barriers.

ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 70 is a heavyweight fiberglass fabric treated with a proprietary refractory mineral coating that improves the resistance to burn-through, flame impingement, abrasion, sparks and molten splash and corrosion.

It also greatly enhances the thermal properties of the fabric. ARMATEX® FIRESTAR 70 is designed for use in welding protection and drop cloths, removable thermal insulation jackets, stress relieving blankets and thermal barriers.
